Junaid, Wasim & Co is a full service law firm in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, specialising in dispute resolution, arbitration and commercial law.

Founded by Barrister Junaid Jahangir and Wasim Abid, the firm's practice spans dispute resolution, arbitration, tax, employment, and commercial and regulatory law.

The firm has a growing litigation and dispute resolution practice, alongside advising corporate clients on commercial and regulatory matters. It appears before the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan, the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the High Courts of Pakistan, and other judicial and quasi judicial forums.

Beyond its Islamabad and Rawalpindi base, the firm also offers representation in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta, in collaboration with its affiliate counsels.

Barrister Junaid Jahangir is an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan and a Barrister of Lincoln's Inn, called to the Bar in England. He began practising in 2009 with a prestigious Islamabad law firm, working on high profile litigation where he assisted senior partners and handled cases independently, excelling in both civil and criminal trials. In 2015 he founded JB Chambers, with a practice grounded in commercial and corporate work, arbitration, and constitutional and regulatory litigation, and advised clients in the real estate sector and foreign diplomatic missions. Junaid and Wasim established Junaid, Wasim & Co in 2026 by merging their practices. He brings to the firm a mastery of advocacy and trial work, and is presently engaged by high profile clients in complex, highly contentious litigation before the trial courts. Alongside his trial practice, he advises clients in the real estate, construction and manufacturing sectors on corporate matters, transaction structuring, contract drafting and advisory work.

Wasim Abid

Senior Partner · Advocate, Supreme Court of Pakistan

Wasim Abid is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. He began his career in 2011 at a prestigious Islamabad law firm, assisting a senior partner in highly contentious competition and telecommunications litigation. In 2015 he co-founded Abid & Khan Law (AK Law), and was enrolled as an Advocate of the Supreme Court in 2024. Wasim and Junaid established Junaid, Wasim & Co in 2026 by merging their practices. Across a practice spanning more than fifteen years, he has focused on construction and infrastructure arbitration under FIDIC contracts, and commercial litigation before the superior courts in tax, regulatory, employment and energy disputes. His core expertise lies in dispute resolution and tax law. He has a strong command of international commercial arbitration and the frameworks governing institutional arbitration under the ICC, LCIA and SIAC, and is regularly engaged in highly contentious construction arbitrations.
