Junaid, Wasim & Co is a full service law firm in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, specialising in dispute resolution, arbitration and commercial law.

Founded by Barrister Junaid Jahangir and Wasim Abid, the firm's practice spans dispute resolution, arbitration, tax, employment, and commercial and regulatory law.

The firm has a growing litigation and dispute resolution practice, alongside advising corporate clients on commercial and regulatory matters. It appears before the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan, the Supreme Court of Pakistan, the High Courts of Pakistan, and other judicial and quasi judicial forums.

Beyond its Islamabad and Rawalpindi base, the firm also offers representation in Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta, in collaboration with its affiliate counsels.

Junaid Jahangir

Senior Partner · Advocate of the High Courts · Barrister at Law

Barrister Junaid Jahangir is an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan and a Barrister of Lincoln's Inn, called to the Bar in England. He began practising in 2009 with a prestigious Islamabad law firm, working on high profile litigation where he assisted senior partners and handled cases independently, and excelled in both civil and criminal trials. In 2015 he founded JB Chambers, with a practice grounded in commercial and corporate work, arbitration, and constitutional and regulatory litigation, advising clients in the real estate sector and foreign diplomatic missions. Junaid and Wasim co-founded Junaid, Wasim & Co in 2026 by merging their existing practices. He brings to the firm a mastery of advocacy and trial work; his command of procedure and expertise before the trial courts have brought him considerable success. Alongside his trial practice, he advises clients in the real estate, construction and manufacturing sectors on corporate matters, transaction structuring, contract drafting and advisory work.

Wasim Abid

Senior Partner · Advocate, Supreme Court of Pakistan

Wasim Abid is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan. After graduating from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), he began his career in 2011 at a prestigious Islamabad law firm, assisting senior partners in highly contentious competition and telecommunications litigation before the High Courts and the Supreme Court. In 2015 he co-founded Abid & Khan Law (AK Law), and was enrolled as an Advocate of the Supreme Court in 2024. Wasim and Junaid co-founded Junaid, Wasim & Co in 2026 by merging their existing practices. Across a practice spanning more than fifteen years, he has focused on construction and infrastructure arbitration under FIDIC contracts, and commercial litigation before the superior courts in tax, regulatory, employment and energy disputes. His core expertise lies in dispute resolution and tax law. He has a strong command of international commercial arbitration and the frameworks governing institutional arbitration under the ICC, LCIA and SIAC, and holds an LLM in International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London. He is regularly engaged in highly contentious construction arbitrations and complex litigation before the courts in Pakistan.

Mohammad Ahmad is a graduate of LUMS and an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan, and holds an LLM from University College London. He is a senior partner of the Islamabad based firm Article Four. Before founding Article Four, he worked at top ranked Pakistani law firms, the office of the Attorney General of Pakistan, and a leading firm in Doha, Qatar. He has extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, with particular expertise in banking and finance, company law and energy law. Fahad Malik

Fahad Malik is a graduate of LUMS and an Advocate of the High Courts of Pakistan, and the founding partner of the Lahore based firm Fahad Malik & Co (FMCO). Hammad Saeed

Hina Zuhair
